How can we help you?

Everything you need to know about getting the best results from ClarityScholar AI, from formatting guidelines to advanced export features.

Essential Guides

Supported Document Types

Currently, ClarityScholar AI officially supports .PDF files. For optimal results, ensure your PDF contains real text rather than scanned images.

  • Academic Research Papers (IEEE, Springer, arXiv formatting)
  • Technical Documentation & Manuals
  • Essays and Long-form Articles

File Size & Limitations

To ensure fast processing times and prevent timeout errors, there is a maximum file size limit of 10MB per upload. Very long documents (e.g., 500-page textbooks) might exceed the AI's context window. For best results, summarize individual chapters rather than entire books.

Rich Exports

Download your research data in PDF, Markdown, JSON, or Text formats instantly.

Private & Secure

Your documents are processed securely and never used to train global AI models.

Frequently Asked Questions

Once a summary is generated, look for the 'Export' button in the top right of the results panel. You can download the data as a beautifully formatted PDF, a Markdown file for Notion/Obsidian, a plain Text file, or raw JSON for developers.
As long as you are logged in, all your successful summaries are automatically saved. Click on your Profile Avatar in the top right corner of the navigation bar to access your complete Research History.
Your document is securely chunked and processed in memory. We do not use your personal research data to train our models, ensuring complete privacy for unpublished academic work.
The most common reasons for failure are: the PDF is a scanned image without actual text, the file exceeds the 10MB limit, or the document is password protected. Ensure your PDF has selectable text.
